EDUCATION Minister Douglas Syakalima says no student was paid for meeting President Hakainde Hichilema on Sunday, contradicting NORTEC principal Martin Kasonso’s assertions that nearly 3,000 students from the institution received lunch money after the event. And Syakalima got frustrated with opposition MPs who kept interrupting him, saying that government had already spent billions on students’ meal allowances in the last four years and couldn’t have failed to pay them if that was the case.
