POLICE have arrested a 26-year-old woman of Lusaka’s Meanwood area for allegedly murdering her two stepchildren aged six and two, after she threw them into Ngwerere River. In a statement, Thursday, Police Deputy Public Relations Officer Chipo Kaitisha stated that the suspect, identified as Mary Kachilika, was in a polygamous marriage with her 29-year-old husband, Titus Kamanga. Kaitisha stated that Kachilika reportedly experienced disputes arising from jealousy, as the other wife had children, while she did not.
