SOCIALIST Party leader Dr Fred M’membe’s lawyer, Norman Siwila, says police have charged his client with another offence over a video he posted about receiving a police call-out. Meanwhile, Siwila says Dr M’membe has not yet been granted police bond following his arrest on Monday over remarks in which he accused President Hakainde Hichilema of “imprisoning” the body of late former president Edgar Lungu. On Monday, Police Public Relations Officer Godfrey Chilabi said the opposition leader had been charged with the offence of harassment and humiliation. Dr M’membe’s arrest followed his remarks on Kwithu FM, in which he also questioned whether President Hichilema wanted to eat Lungu’s body, since he had not allowed the family to bury him nine months...
