THE Health Professions Council of Zambia (HPCZ) says it is mandatory for all hospitals to operate with a license, including those being constructed using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). HPCZ Deputy Registrar for Technical Services Dr Muhumpu Kafwamfwa has noted that it is sometimes surprising to see a hospital being opened, without the knowledge of the Council.
