THE Zambia Police Service has revealed that it recorded 44 road traffic accidents countrywide on Youth Day. In a statement, Friday, Police Spokesperson Godfrey Chilabi said eight of the accidents were fatal, while seven resulted in serious injuries. Chilabi added that Lusaka Province recorded the highest number of accidents, totaling 22. “The Zambia Police Service wishes to inform the public that 44 road traffic accidents were recorded countrywide on the Youth Day holiday, 12 March 2026.
