SHIBUYUNJI Council Chairperson Adrian Mwanakayemba has revealed that since 2021, 221 clubs and cooperatives have benefited from CDF grants and loans totaling over K10 million in the district. Mwanakayemba says the Constituency Development Fund has continued to help many women start and grow their businesses. Speaking during the International Women’s Day celebrations, Mwanakayemba highlighted the importance of this year’s theme, “Rights. Justice. Action for All Women and Girls,” noting that it challenges society to move beyond promises and ensure that women fully enjoy their rights and opportunities.
