GOVERNMENT says more than 24,000 youths in Luapula Province benefited from various CDF programmes in 2025. According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, Minister Peter Kapala revealed that a total of 24,338 youths accessed support through different CDF components. A breakdown of the beneficiaries shows that 15,302 youths received empowerment grants, while 3,581 accessed skills development bursaries. Additionally, 1,251 young people benefited from business loans and 4,204 learners were supported through secondary school bursaries.
