THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday questioned Tonse president Brian Mundubile over road contracts worth over K1.5 billion, awarded between 2014 and 2020 to companies in which he has an interest. Meanwhile, there was a heavy police presence at the ACC premises and surrounding areas following Mundubile’s summons. Shortly after his questioning, Mundubile and his team got into an altercation with the police, who refused to allow him to greet his supporters who were gathered nearby. In the commotion, former ZAMMSA Director General Victor Nyasulu and another supporter of Mundubile were forcibly bundled into a police vehicle after insisting that Mundubile should be allowed to address his supporters.
