POLICE in Livingstone have arrested Betty Muleya, 28, for allegedly poured boiling water on her sleeping husband. Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo confirmed the arrest of Muleya for the offence of unlawfully causing grievous harm contrary to Section 224 of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Namalongo said that the suspect had been released on police bond. “The Zambia Police Service in Livingstone District received a report of grievous harm, which was made at Mbita Police Post on March 29 at 09:40 hours.
