LAW Association of Zambia (LAZ) aspiring president Matilda Kaoma says the seeping in of politics into the Association has created the perception that its credibility has reduced. Kaoma notes that as a result of the negative perception, some senior lawyers have withdrawn from the Association. She was responding to a question during the LAZ presidential election debate on Friday, where she was asked what concrete measures she would take if elected, to strengthen the standing of the Association and address perceptions that its credibility has diminished.
