POLICE in Eastern Province yesterday briefly detained News Diggers Editor-in-Chief Joseph Mwenda after a traffic incident at Chipata Shoprite involving a taxi driver. Mwenda explained that a taxi driver identified as Malama reported him to police on allegations that he had damaged his vehicle’s windshield after the driver, in an attempt to get the attention of Mwenda’s wife, ran over his right foot, twisting his ankle in the process.
