CHIEF Justice Dr Mumba Malila says there may be an increase in the number of election petitions after the August 13 general elections, particularly at the parliamentary level. Dr Malila has also noted with concern that there is a rise in intra-party disputes, especially as elections approach, and that these cases are taking too long to be heard because of the unmanageable caseloads faced by the judiciary.
