THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says it will announce the 70 new constituencies on Thursday. The Commission last month concluded the nationwide delimitation exercise after it went through all the 10 provinces of the country consulting stakeholders. In a statement, Tuesday, ECZ Corporate Affairs Manager Patricia Luhanga stated that the announcement would be made at Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka. “This serves to notify political parties, civil society organizations and faith-based organisations that the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) will announce the 70 new constituencies on Thursday, 16th April 2026, at 09:30 hours. The meeting will be held at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Mosi-oa-Tunya Hall. Media personnel are cordially invited to cover the event,” stated Luhanga....
