SOCIALIST Party president Dr Fred M’membe has wondered why candidates must pay nomination fees, arguing that one must actually be paid to become a leader. Commenting on the Electoral Commission of Zambia’s proposal to increase nomination fees for male presidential candidates from K95, 000 to K100,000, Dr M’membe said nomination fees were actually an anomaly.
