WOMEN in Kabanana Township in Mandevu Constituency are set to benefit from improved maternal healthcare services following the construction of a maternity annex at Kabanana Health Post, which is nearing completion. For years, the health post has operated without a maternity wing, forcing expectant mothers to walk distances of over three kilometres to access maternal services. The situation has left many women exposed to health risks, particularly during emergencies.
