A TOTAL of K2,771,407.13 has been disbursed to 113 cooperatives and clubs in Matero Constituency under the 2026 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) grants. The beneficiaries, drawn from all wards in the constituency, are expected to use the funds to start or expand income-generating activities, create jobs and improve household incomes. Speaking during the disbursement ceremony, Lusaka Province Minister Sheal Mulyata said the initiative shows government’s commitment to taking development closer to the people and ensuring citizens directly benefit from national resources.
