THE Ministry of Education has directed universities to ensure that the qualifications they confer on graduates are not only valid within the country but are also recognised outside the country. Meanwhile, Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) Director General Mercy Ngoma says there is need for ZAQA and higher education institutions to understand each other in order to serve each other better.
