DEMOCRATIC Progressive Party (DPP) leader Antonio Mwanza says if the opposition does not unite, the Zambian people will use the ballot to teach them a painful but necessary lesson. His comment comes after 25 presidential aspirants recently paid their nomination fees to contest the 2026 elections. Mwanza said the continued fragmentation of the opposition was dangerous and undermined chances of electoral victory. “The message from the Zambian people is loud and unmistakable: unite or step aside.
