THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has revised the nomination fees for male and female parliamentarians to K17,000 and K14,000, respectively. In 2021, male parliamentary candidates paid K15,000, while females paid K13,500. The revised nomination fees for the 2026 general election for youths who wish to contest as members of parliament have been increased to K10,500 from K10,000, while fees for persons with disabilities have been retained at K10,000.
