FINANCE and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane says unlike under the PF government where the road sector was being administered at State House, things have changed under the UPND government. Dr Musokotwane adds that the country should accept that Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) are the normal way of financing roads, which is being done in many other countries. He further says the passage of the National Road Fund (Amendment) Bill No. 30 of 2026 would strengthen governance, broaden stakeholder participation and enhance service delivery in the road sector.
