IKELENG’I UPND MP Elijah Muchima says there is need to remunerate judges properly to avoid corruption and late delivery of judgements. Yesterday, Parliament ratified the appointment of Justices Chalwe Farai Mchenga, S.C., Abha Patel S.C., Getrude Chawatama and Butler Sitali to serve as Judges of the Supreme Court; Justices Pixie Yangailo, Vincent Siloka and Getrude Imbwae to serve as Judges of the Constitutional Court; Justice Charles Zulu to serve as Deputy President of the Court of Appeal; and Lady Justice Sharon Kaunda Newa, Irene Zeko Mbewe, Bridget Chilombo Maka, Ruth Chibbabbuka, Conceptor Chinyanwa Zulu and Susan Wanjelani to serve as Judges of the Court of Appeal.
