ELECTORAL Commission of Zambia Chairperson Mwangala Zaloumis says claims that the Commission is not credible are just perception. Zaloumis has called on politicians to be truthful and not issue what she described as sweeping statements for the sake of their supporters. Asked to comment on accusations by various political stakeholders that the current Commission was not credible and therefore incapable of holding free and fair elections, Zaloumis said politicians issuing statements based on perception and rumours was bad for democracy.
