THE construction of a modern 1 x 2 dormitory at Mansa Correctional Facility under the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) has reached 90 percent completion, marking another major milestone in infrastructure development in Mansa Central Constituency. The project, being implemented by Mansa Municipal Council at a total cost of K1,560,809.53, is expected to improve accommodation for male inmates once completed. The new facility is expected to reduce congestion at the correctional centre, improve sanitation standards and provide a more humane living environment for inmates.
