THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has rejected the nomination of UPPZ president Charles Chanda, citing an undischarged bankruptcy and the filing of an adoption certificate not bearing the name of the Secretary General. But Chanda furiously rubbished the bankruptcy claim, saying he is worth over K5 billion, enough for the next four generations. Chanda also claimed that he submitted a valid nomination certificate bearing the name of the Secretary General appearing at the Registrar of Societies.
