A ZESCO transformer valued at over K300,000 has been vandalised in Mazabuka. Confirming the incident, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo said the incident is believed to have occurred between May 25 at 18:00 hours and May 26 at 06:00 hours. “The Zambia Police Service in Mazabuka District is investigating a case of vandalism reported at Mazabuka Central Police Station on May 26, 2026, at 17:20 hours.
