THE Northern Province administration has commissioned 12 strategic community development projects worth K18,603,966.54 in Chilubi District. The projects include earth-moving equipment, procured at a total cost of K13,920,210.54 and seven classroom blocks commissioned at a total cost of K4,683,747.10. Funded through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), the newly launched initiatives are set to transform road infrastructure and expand educational access across both the mainland and island regions of the district. In a speech read on behalf of Northern Province Acting Permanent Secretary, Chilubi District Commissioner Risto Mushembe said the machinery is expected to significantly improve feeder road rehabilitation and maintenance across both the mainland and island parts of the district.
