FORMER chief government spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says the next Parliament will be heavily dominated by the UPND, as the entire country is now a stronghold of the ruling party. Mweetwa says smaller political entities such as Citizens First are still in their early stages of development and have failed to field candidates in many provinces. He was responding to former Lupososhi PF MP Emmanuel Mpankata, who said the next Parliament would comprise MPs from various political parties as well as independents, and would not be dominated by any single party. Mpankata is contesting the Luwingu Central constituency under the Citizens First party. However, Mweetwa argued that independent MPs stand little chance, insisting that the whole country was a UPND stronghold....
