MILES Sampa says the Patriotic Front has accepted Dr Chitalu Chilufya’s resignation from the party and wishes him well. Sampa further says Dr Chilufya chose to stand as an independent candidate at the expense of being a member of the PF. Meanwhile, Sampa, who is PF faction president, says he won’t resign from the PF even if it means remaining as the only member of the party. On Saturday, Dr Chilufya resigned from the Patriotic Front, ending his long association with the party under which he had served as Mansa Central MP since 2013.
