THE Road Development Agency (RDA) says the contractor working on the Ndola-Sakania-Mufulira Road has worked on the defects that the road had developed shortly after construction. RDA Copperbelt Roads Engineer Bernard Zulu says government has continued to monitor the state of the road, adding that the contractor will be required to fix any defects that may be observed. In March this year, former Copperbelt Province Minister Elisha Matambo expressed disappointment over the poor quality of the Ndola-Sakania-Mufulira Road, further directing the contractor to redo some sections of the road, which had been patched up.
