POLICE in Mongu are investigating reports of tampering of children’s graves at Chisonga Cemetery, following a complaint received yesterday. Western Province Police Commanding Officer Rae Hamoonga says officers visited the scene after the report and found that two children’s graves had been disturbed. In a statement, Wednesday, Hamoonga said a more detailed examination revealed that three additional graves were also found to have been disturbed. “The Zambia Police Service in Mongu wishes to inform members of the public that Mongu Central Police Station has opened an inquiry following reports of disturbed children’s graves at Chisonga Cemetery in Mongu District.
