THE first consignment of ballot papers has arrived in the country from Dubai and are secured at a designated warehouse, ready for dispatch to various constituencies across the country. The arrival of the ballot papers comes after a number of adjustments by the Commission, owing to administrative issues with the charter company. The consignment arrived at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport at exactly 09:00 hours aboard the ER-BAS Boeing 747 cargo plane, which was carrying 202 pellets of ballot papers with the remaining 185 expected in the country today.
