THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has in the “interest of public safety and security”, revoked Binwell Mpundu’s accreditation to access the National Results Centre. Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro says Mpundu’s remarks that he was ready to die or kill for tomorrow’s polls have the potential to incite violence, create public unrest and undermine the peaceful conduct of the electoral process. The Commission had accredited Mpundu to the National Results Centre following his nomination by NRPUP.
