THE Road Development Agency has signed a K177.6 million contract with China Railway Seventh Group on the expansion of the Shimabala Toll Plaza. RDA chief executive officer Nelson Chuma said the development was an important investment that will improve the efficiency and capacity of the plaza. Speaking during the launch, Monday, Chuma said the congestion at the plaza caused frustrations, delays and slowing down of traffic which negatively impacted the economy. “This is a significant occasion in RDA efforts to modernize and improve road infrastructure and transportation in Zambia.
