CONFUSION rocked Lusaka City Council yesterday, as some election monitors fumed after waiting on the queue for a long time to get accreditated, and forcefully broke into Nakatindi Hall. In order to disperse the election monitors who forced their way in, police unleashed smoke canisters inside the hall, prompting the monitors to quickly exit the hall. A few moments later, calm was restored after the monitors were cautioned to remain calm and wait for the right procedure. On the other hand, the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) yesterday distributed ballot papers to all 10 constituencies in Lusaka district.
