MATERO Constituency Resolute Party (RP) losing parliamentary candidate Patrick Salubusa says his decision to petition Alexander Sakala’s victory will depend on the wishes of the people. Sakala, under UPND, was declared winner of the highly contested Matero seat after polling 24,129 votes, while Salubusa came second with 18,614 votes. However, Salubusa has disputed the results, alleging that his votes were swapped in favour of Sakala.
