POLICE in Luanshya have arrested a 46 year-old man of Kanshinde Farming area for assaulting his two month-old son, leaving the infant with a cut on the head. The suspect, identified as Mula Mwape, is alleged to have injured his son, on August 24, 2026, around 17:00 hours, after he attempted to strike the child’s mother with a stick. According to Copperbelt Police Commissioner Rae Hamoonga, the matter was reported to Mpatamatu Police Station on August 25, 2026, around 23:00 hours by the child’s mother.
