PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday met with US Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Frank Garcia Jr, ahead of today’s inauguration. This is the second high-profile meeting President Hichilema has held since his victory in the August polls, following his recent meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Zambia Han Jing. In a Facebook post, President Hichilema said he looked forward to further strengthening bilateral relations with the US, through increased trade, investment and mutually beneficial cooperation for the prosperity of the two countries. “We were delighted to meet Mr Frank W.
