THE Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) says it is not opposed to necessary constitutional reforms, but calls for a wholesale overhaul of the Constitution are neither necessary nor welcome. CCZ General Secretary Rev James Phiri says the Constitution must never be treated as a political instrument for advancing the interests of any government, political party or individual.
