THE Zambia National Education Coalition (ZANEC) has urged the UPND government to consolidate free education gains in its second term by focusing on improving the quality of learning. ZANEC says free education has brought millions of additional learners into schools, but this has also increased pressure on teachers, classrooms, teaching materials and other school infrastructure.
