THE Department of Immigration has deported a Zimbabwean national, following his conviction by the Lusaka Magistrates Court for giving false information about his identity. The Court fined Kudakwashe Mutsetse a combined K60,000 for the two offences or, in default, 12 months simple imprisonment. In a statement, Monday, Immigration Chief Public Relations Officer Namati Nshinka said Mutsetse paid the fine and will be deported from Zambia. “The Department of Immigration on Friday, 18th September 2026 secured the conviction of Kudakwashe Denise Mutsetse, 30 Zimbabwean national, for giving false information to an Immigration Officer and concealing his true national identity.
