SAKWIBA Sikota says the State is not upholding the Constitution, arguing that it has been over 10 days since Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu were slapped with a sedition charge without appearing in court. Sikota, who is Mundubile’s lawyer, says the courts might as well be closed again because various petitions are not being allocated hearing dates. Mundubile and his running mate, Makebi, have been slapped with another charge of sedition, following their initial charge of treason. Meanwhile, Mundubile, Makebi and 16 others have petitioned Attorney General Mulilo Kabesha over alleged violations of their constitutional rights while in custody.
