SOCIALIST Party leader Dr Fred M’membe has challenged President Hakainde Hichilema to personally tell Zambians that he will neither seek nor accept a third term in office, arguing that his silence on the matter is “already an answer”. Dr M’membe has also called on the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ), church mother bodies and civil society organisations to come together and defend presidential term limits, recalling their role in opposing late president Frederick Chiluba’s third-term bid in 2001.
