EASTERN Province permanent secretary Paul Thole has confirmed that deputy permanent secretary Dr Lewis Mwape has been fired. Dr Mwape was appointed Eastern Province deputy permanent secretary in March 2024, after serving in Northern Province, where he worked from February 2022 until his transfer. Addressing the media, Thole said the provincial administration had received guidance on Dr Mwape’s dismissal.
