THE justification by the Zambia Army for beating some youths who were filmed insulting President Hakainde Hichilema is strange but understood. We understand why many Zambians consider their act to be heroic. According to the Zambia Army Director General for Civil Military Affairs Brigadier General Genoh Muke, a few slaps from soldiers cannot be described as brutality. He says the soldiers were angered when they heard the insults which were being hurled at their Commander-in-Chief.
