Continued… IN 2012, just a year after Zambians had elected Michael Sata as Republican President, opposition political party leaders started calling him out for failing to deliver on his campaign promises. Michael and his vice-president Dr Guy Scott were called all sorts of names; chimbwi no plan, muzungu opusa etc. Leading that onslaught was yours truly Hakainde Hichilema. Credited for being sharp, articulate and successful, Hichilema did not spare his political rival who could only hit back with state machinery. We particularly remember Mr Hichilema adopting the song “Bufi” done by Pilato and Petersen, to mock old Michael. The song listed PF campaign promises which had not been delivered.
