IT is enlightening to hear from Socialist Party leader Dr Fred M’membe that a united opposition front will soon be announcing a presidential candidate, just under two weeks from now. It appears that the “comrade” has finally succeeded in swallowing the chunk of the Patriotic Front that he has been chewing for a while. It now makes sense why some PF MPs and officials have been openly defying the directives of the Edgar Lungu–imposed acting president, Given Lubinda. We can’t wait to see who this candidate shall be.
