VICE-President Mutale Nalumango says government has allowed Sino Metals to resume operating after the toxic spillage incident in February last year. While admitting that there has been no full closure on the case and that the cleaning of the contaminated Kafue River has not been done, the Vice-President says Sino-Metals has been allowed to resume business, because the company is managing its tailings. We assume being the leader of government business in the House, Her Honour was presenting the official Cabinet position on this matter, and we can only imagine how many hearts are broken and how many citizens are disappointed by this development.
