CONSTITUTIONAL lawyer John Sangwa and his partner Dolika Banda have been making headlines recently, with some citizens laughing at their request for campaign funds from voters. Some people have suggested that the dual is wasting its valuable time in politics as they will never make any meaningful impact. In our view, the pair is being judged too early and too harshly. We actually believe that they make a very good pair for political leadership in Zambia. They are both highly educated, decent and, importantly, they come to the national stage without the burden of public scandal hanging over their names.
