REVEREND Godfridah Sumaili claims that cadreism and political violence are worse under the UPND than they were under the Patriotic Front. This is an outrageous and blatant lie coming from a former minister of religious affairs. It is even more troubling because Christianity does not permit this kind of casual violence against the truth. A Christian may be mistaken. A Christian may even be partisan. But a Christian, especially one who still speaks from the pulpit of public morality, should fear bearing false witness.
