DEVELOPMENT Bank of Zambia board chairman Noel Nkoma says the country should consider establishing a Lusaka metal exchange, as it can present opportunities for boosting the country’s foreign exchange reserves. In an interview, Nkoma said as one of the biggest metal mining economy, Zambians needed to start participating in metal trade. “As one of the biggest metal mining economy, meaning copper, cobalt, manganese, gold and so, we have an opportunity to consider seriously to open what we call a Lusaka – either a copper exchange or metal exchange.
